What is Tampa Pulmonary Premium Service?
Tampa Pulmonary Premium Service is a concierge program within our pulmonary practice that offers enhanced access, priority scheduling, and personalized care. How much does it cost?
The founder’s rate for the first 100 patients is $2,500 per year. After the first 100 patients enroll, the price will increase to $3,000 per year.
Are there discounts for household members?
Yes! A second household member can join at a reduced founder’s rate of $4,000 combined for both members. After the first 100 patients enroll, the combined household price for 2 members will increase to $5,000 per year.
Is there a limit on how many patients each doctor can take on as a premium patient?
Yes. We are limiting the number of premium members per doctor to ensure high-quality, personalized care. Keeping the membership size manageable allows us to provide more direct access, longer appointments, and faster responses to your needs.
When I call, will the doctor answer?
Premium members will have a dedicated phone line answered during office hours by staff who will directly communicate with the doctor between patients. The doctor will respond to you as soon as possible. After hours, the doctor will answer the phone directly.
Do you bill insurance?
Yes. We will bill your insurance for covered services such as office visits, procedures, and testing. However, the concierge membership fee covers non-covered benefits like direct 24/7 access to your pulmonologist, extended appointments, expedited services, and unlimited telemedicine visits.
Do I need insurance to join?
Yes. Patients must have an accepted insurance plan to enroll in Tampa Pulmonary Premium Service, as we still bill insurance when applicable.
What is included in the membership fee?
Your membership covers:
- 24/7 direct access to your pulmonologist
- Same-day or next-day in-office appointments
- Same-day pulmonary function testing (PFTs)
- Expedited coordination for imaging (CT scans, X-rays, etc.)
- Personalized phone calls for test results

Do I still pay copays and deductibles?
Yes. Your insurance benefits remain the same, so standard copays, deductibles, and coinsurance still apply for billable services.

What if my doctor is on vacation?
You are never alone. Even if your doctor is on vacation, our team is still available to answer your urgent needs directly. You will always have access to medical guidance and support, ensuring continuity of care whenever you need it.
